CLARENCE SHULER (Ph.D.) is the President/CEO of BLR: Building Lasting Relationships, which conducts marriage, singles, men’s, parenting, biblical diversity, overcoming pornography (for men/boys & girls) seminars throughout the United States and internationally. He and Brenda, his wife, are members of FamilyLife’s Marriage Speaker team. They won the 2019 FamilyLife Marriage Conference Speakers of the Year Award. Clarence did a film session as a marriage expert for Oprah’s Love Goals, a relationship reality show. He does professional cross-cultural consulting for churches and organizations such as the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Evangelical Free Church of America, Moody Bible Institute and Wycliffe Bible Translators. Frequently, he speaks for Iron Sharpens Iron and in National Football League chapels. Formerly, he was President of Moody Bible Institute’s Alumni Board. Clarence has authored eight books, including Choose Greatness: 11 Wise Decisions That Brave Young Men Make, co-authored with Dr. Gary Chapman and Keeping Your Wife Your Best Friend. Dr. Chapman and Dr. Shuler speak together at relationship events.
Brenda Shuler is a gifted national speaker. As the Manager over Bridges of Hope & Client Care for Life Network, a post-abortion ministry to men and women, she helps them to heal from the pain of their past. Brenda is a former teacher for a Colorado Springs citywide women’s Bible Study. She’s the Executive Administrator for BLR: Building Lasting Relationships. Most importantly, Brenda keeps the Shuler household running smoothly.
Veterans of the pastorate, educational services, a variety of non-profit and corporate consulting; they have three adult daughters and reside in Colorado Springs, CO.
