Printable with Fun Questions for Your Kids to Ask Each Other!
First, I want to give a shout out to all the dads this month! Your role is eternally important and I hope this Scripture is an encouragement to you today:
“Many a man proclaims his own loyalty and goodness, But who can find a faithful and trustworthy man? The righteous man who walks in integrity and lives life in accord with his [godly] beliefs— How blessed [happy and spiritually secure] are his children after him [who have his example to follow].”
Proverbs 20:6-7 AMP
Wow! This Scripture makes me thankful for my husband, Mark, who is trustworthy and righteous, walks in integrity, and lives life in accord with his godly beliefs! I pray our children continue to be blessed by him and his example. His choices bless our family and enrich our lives now and for eternity!!!
Do you feel the same way about your spouse? Feel free to send your husband this Scripture on Father’s Day, which is coming up in a couple weeks. Bonus: One of the questions in today’s printable applies to him, so maybe you could tuck this completed worksheet into his Father’s Day card for him to enjoy!
Something else happens for a lot of us in June . . . are your kids out on summer break this month?
Last year was an interesting summer for us . . . we sold our house, but the home we were moving into was not livable yet, so we were living in our friends’ basement. (God bless you, Jon and Jolene!)
During that time I printed out our four copies of the worksheet I had emailed you about a Bonding Activity with Our Children. I planned to sit down individually with each of our children to record their questions . . . don’t we have lovely expectations as moms? In reality, I printed them, got distracted, and somehow they ended up in between the seats in our minivan.
Fast forward to the date this picture was taken: my birthday, when all our plans got canceled as our family (all except mama) ended up with walking pneumonia. We were on our way to pick up medicine after receiving the diagnosis from Urgent Care. God dropped an unexpected holy moment on us when the girls found the worksheets, picked them up, and had fun interviewing one another and recording the answers in the car.
It was such a fun memory on a sad, sick day, but it inspired me to continue coming up with intentional questions to promote conversation amongst our children. Somehow printing these out and strewing them around the house (or vehicle) allows for organic, rich conversation. So, I want to share another printable, this time intentionally designed with fun questions for your kids to ask each other!
Enjoy!
Sincerely,
Laura

These verses have been special to me in different seasons and for different reasons. I first read this in the King James Version before I was a Jesus-follower and it caught my attention because…
